From Plates by Post to Ocelot Cafe & Bakery
In early 2020, Liz & Jason launched @platesbypost from their Cleveland apartment, showcasing kitchen creations sourced via West Side Market runs. Liz's baking passion led to @platesbypost offerings and eventually, the formation of Plates by Post LLC. They later moved to Akron, registered for a Home Bakery License, and expanded the business to wholesale, farmers markets, and custom baking services. By April 2022, they purchased The Richfield Gourmet Cafe and soon rebranded to Ocelot Cafe & Bakery. Ocelot offers an entirely scratch-made menu, locally roasted coffee, and quick service. With a team of 10, they operate the cafe 6 days a week, establishing themselves as a beloved spot in Northeast Ohio.
